Rarely does one find such a congenial and knowledgeable environment in which to have your film shown. Jeffrey and Roberta are masters at directing it all, at relating to an audience which are true fans of film, and at asking intelligent and provocative questions in the Q&A. And best of all, it’s terrific fun!
It is always gratifying when we have the opportunity to screen and talk about the film with folks who have obviously taken the time to study the subject and truly care about helping grow the audience. Please keep up the great work and on behalf of Judy, myself and the rest of the Girls in the Band team… A big thanks!!
Thank you for the wonderful experience of showing my film at the Talking Movies screening at the DGA. The theatre is technically superb with a dedicated staff. The passionate audience and the initiated Q &A, held by such knowledgeable people as Roberta Burrows and Jeffrey Lyons, made for a warm and fantastic evening. It is a true and memorable treat for a filmmaker!
I am convinced that a good Q&A always fills in some of the question marks, and ultimately makes the film experience a fuller one.
Jeffrey and Roberta reveal why filmmakers have to make films, actors have to act and movie-goers become movie lovers.
Jeffrey's and Roberta's questions are probing but fun - terrific way to learn about movies.
Doing that interview with Jeffrey and Roberta was very special. They know the score and it was a pleasure to be on the stage with them.
I was having such a good time, I hated to leave.
