FALL SCHEDULE 2002

TALKING MOVIES is a series for people who love movies! If you only like them, are only interested in stars or can’t bear reading sub-titles move on!

You have to love movies! You have to be excited when you walk into a theater, find your seat, hunker down and know when the lights go down and the curtain goes up (o.k. so pretend there’s a curtain!), you’re going to spend the next two hours (o.k. sorry, sometimes it’s three and you’re right, in most cases that’s too long) on a magical trip. Some laughs, some sturm and drang, oh yes mystery and maybe even an action film or a thriller…en Francais, in Italian and possibly even Farci but mostly in English. We generally show one or two foreign films per session. BUT if they’re great, we’ll show more!

We know some of the movies that are opening and there’s lots more that will be announced. The list below is a sampling of movies that might be available. There’s lot of logisitics involved so sometimes we know two weeks in advance and sometimes two months who’s in town on a Thursday night. However, check out the list of filmmakers who have visited us in the past. You won’t be disapointed!
